Bell Helicopter has made considerable progress on the V-280 Valor program. Bell engineers are currently running ground tests on the aircraft on a specially designed platform. This testing phase should be the last before the rotorcraft’s first flight, which the manufacturer has scheduled for the fall. In the meantime, Bell is also preparing to bring its Amarillo assembly plant online.
