Coptersafety, which began the installation of its new Level D flight simulator at the end of last year, indicates that it will be operational from May 2019. The installation is done in collaboration with TRU Simulation + Training which is the provider of all new Coptersafety simulators. The evaluation and approval of EASA will take place after the complete assembly of the simulator.
There is a significant number of H125s into service, but simulator training is lagging behind the operation of twin-engine helicopters in industries such as Oil & Gas, Search and Rescue, and EMS.
